The E7ICAT is a compact and efficient recessed housing optimized, and listed for EISA compliant tungsten-halogen, CFL and LED lamps as well as incandescent. Housing is suitable for residential, or light commercial applications. For installation in insulated ceilings* and non-insulated ceilings with airtight code compliant construction. Use with a variety of trims and finishes to create different lighting effects or to match any decor. May be retrofit with compatible HALO LED lighting systems.

- Insulation contact rated: Designed for insulated ceilings where contact is necessary
- Q-Channel bars with Pass-N-Thru feature allows bars to cross-over for tool-less shortening in tight spaces less than 12 in. without removing from the plaster frame
- Pass-N-Thru bar hangers: fixture has pre-installed nails that easily installs in regular lumber, engineered lumber, and laminated beams
- E7ICAT is compatible with a wide variety of 6 in. recessed light trims but is best with Halo 426, 420, 353, 310, 301, 172, 78, 71, 70, and 30 series models
- E7ICAT is compatible with a wide variety of 6 inch LED retrofit trims but is best with Halo quality RL, RA, SLD, LT, SMD, and ML series models (Bulb free with some having a 45 year LED lifespan)
- Slide-N-Side junction box: connectors allow non-metallic sheathed cable for both U.S. and Canada to be installed without tools
- High performance E26 series 6 in. trim options available
- 3 Quick Connect connectors: eliminate the need for separate wire nuts - simply strip supply wires and push in
- E7ICAT features an integral thermal protector to guard against misuse of insulation materials and improper lamping
